Who doesn't love felt? Even the cat has to agree, it is such a wonderful material to be around. She knows nothing of work, but it is also a great material to work with.
I was not trying to include the cat, but did want to show you my latest finish and the fantastic stack of felt I just received from Kim at Retromama. She has stopped selling her felt (I scooped this up on sale), but continues to sell well-written and easy to follow patterns. She has quite a few freebies, too, if you want a sense of her patterns before deciding to buy.
This girl is going to a friend of ours who turned two not long ago. I don't exactly know what I'll do with all this felt. Puppet kits, no doubt. And accessories for dolls, though that is a LOT of hair bows! I made my kids felt crowns, which was great fun, and I would love to make more of those.
Have you seen any fun felt projects you think I should know about? Pass them along, I am always looking for inspiration!
Sharon
ps For you cat-allergic people out there: yes, I normally keep the cat out of the fabric piles, but I just had to snap this pic before shooing her away.
